The Frugal Diet
MID-MORNING SNACK OPTIONS
*Choose only one option
- 1 Medium orange
- 4 Dried prunes (20g) - these can also be stewed
- 1 Apple and 1 thin slice of low-fat cheese
- 175ml low-fat plain yoghurt and 1 chopped pear or apple
AFTERNOON SNACK OPTIONS
*Choose only one option
- 1 Slice whole-wheat toast and 2 tsp of peanut butter
- 2 Apples, pears or small bananas
- 1 Apple or pear and 2 cups of popped corn (no butter!)
EVENING SNACK OPTIONS
*Choose only one option
- 250ml Fat-free milk with cinnamon and sweetener
- 175ml Fat-fee plain yoghurt and 1 apple or 4 stewed prunes
- 1 Digestive biscuit
