Cucumbers

Cucumbers are fairly easy to grow but they need a lot of space, loads of nutrient rich compost, plenty of mulch and lots of water.

Water them early mornings, so that they water ca evaporate on the leaves and fruit - this will avoid fungus developing.

Plant 2 or 3 seedlings in well drained soil and keep a watchful eye on them as they tend to take over your garden and strangling your other plants.
